Lode Runner command summary (unofficial)

You are a Galatic Commando deep in enemy territory. Power hungry leaders of the
repressive Bungeling Empire have stolen a fortune in gold from the people by
means of excessive fast food taxes. Your task? To infiltrate each of the 150
different treasure rooms, evade the deadly Bungeling guards, and recover every
chest of Bungeling boot.

Keyboard commands:

I: Up
K: Down
J: Left
L: Right
U: Dig left
O: Dig right

Joystick commands:

Up/down/left/right
Button: Dig

Scoring:

Complete a level (get all gold chests): 1500 points
Gold chests: 250 points
Trapping a guard: 75 points
Guard dying in hole: 75 points

Special keys:

CTRL-A: Aborts man if stuck without means of death or escape
CTRL-D: Toggles direction of dig (forward or behind runner)
CTRL-J: Sets game to joystick control
CTRL-K: Sets game to keyboard control
CTRL-R: Terminate game - enter demo
CTRL-Z: Toggles iris-in/iris-out scene change feature
RETURN: In demo - display high score list
Minus "-" key: Slow down game speed
Plus "+" key: Speed up game speed
RUN/STOP: Pause game

Cheat keys:

CTRL-F: Increase number of extra men
CTRL-U: Advance a level

Using either one of the cheat keys forfeits your high score attempt for that
game.

1. CTRL-E when in demo mode
  C: Clear level
  E: Edit level
  I: Initialize data disk
  M: Move level
  P: Play level
  S: Clear high scores

2. Movement
  I: Up a line
  M: Down a line
  J: Left a character
  K: Right a character

3. Choosing objects
  0: Blank piece
  1: Diggable floor
  2: Undiggable floor
  3: Ladder
  4: Hand-over-hand bar
  5: Trap door
  6: Ladder that appears after getting all gold
  7: Gold chest
  8: Enemy
  9: Player

4. Limitations
  - Must have only one player (#9)
  - 1-5 enemies (#8)
